High Volume Mix
This dry bulk, high production unit utilizes colloidal mixers to produce homogeneous slurry (cement, fly ash and water) onsite. The slurry is combined with preformed foam during the pumping process. The proportions of cement, fly ash, water and foam are calibrated to achieve required densities. The ratio of slurry to foam determines the PCF of the product.
This unit is capable of producing 200 cubic yards per hour. The silos store the cement and fly ash (if used). Cement is augered from the silos into the weight batch/mixing hopper. After material is completely mixed, it is transferred to the holding tank while the next batch is being produced. When needed, materials are dropped from the holding tank into the pump hopper for placement. This allows for continuous production.
This unit has successfully completed many high profile projects including stadiums, tunnels and highways.
